1 . What is a promocode? [back to top]
A promocode is a 14 digit alpha-numeric code that is awarded to recipients/participants as payment for an incentive, promotion or other type of approved program. A promocode can be redeemed by a recipient for various products approved by the sponsor of the program. In some instances, promocodes can be redeemed for Visa® virtual cards, Visa physical cards, checks or merchandise.

Promocodes are purchased by program sponsors and are distributed directly by the sponsors to recipients/participants. You cannot purchase a promocode.
3 . Do promocodes expire? [back to top]
Yes. Depending upon the program sponsor’s program rules, the promocode will have an expiration date associated with the particular program so please pay attention to the expiration date. Promocodes cannot be redeemed after the expiration date.
4 . Is there a limit to how many promocodes I can redeem? [back to top]
Yes. Your program sponsor has set a maximum limit on the number of promocodes that can be redeemed. Once you reach this limit, you will be unable to redeem any promocodes.
5 . I redeemed my promocode successfully but did not receive the product for which I redeemed. What should I do? [back to top]
First, please make sure that you allow at least 5-7 business days for the delivery of any physical product that you redeemed. In the event that you do not receive the product that you redeemed within this time period, please call the customer support center at 877-325-8444.
6 . I redeemed for a Card and received it in the mail. Do I need to activate my Card? [back to top]
No. Once you receive your card, you do not have to activate your card. You can immediately spend your card at millions of acceptance locations worldwide.
7 . I redeemed for a Card. Does the Card expire? [back to top]
Yes, please pay particular attention to the expiration date of your Card Account. Once your Card Account expires, it will not be available for use. You can find the expiration date printed on the front of your card.
8 . I redeemed for a Card and noticed that this is a DEBIT account. Do I need a PIN number to make a purchase? [back to top]
No, you do not need a PIN number to make a purchase. Although your Card Account may say DEBIT, it is signature based and does not require a 4 digit PIN number. If asked to select DEBIT or CREDIT, please select CREDIT. We apologize for the confusion but it is an industry technical issue regarding the classification of prepaid accounts.

You can view your purchases by visiting the www.VPCode.com or www.prepaidcardstatus.com websites or by calling 877-325-8444. You will be able to print statements and access all of your transaction history.
10 . I want to buy something that costs more than I have available. [back to top]
There are many merchants that accept split payment, or two forms of payment. For those merchants, you will want to pay the difference first and use your card for the remaining balance. If merchants do not accept two or more forms of payments, you must purchase something that is equal to or less than your available Account balance.
11 . I lost my card. How do I replace it? [back to top]
In the event of loss, immediately call the customer support center at 877-325-8444. Your card will be blocked from future purchases. We will reissue you a new Card for the unused balance less a $10 reissue fee.
12 . Whose address is attached to the Card? [back to top]
Some web merchants perform an address verification before allowing you to make a purchase. The address verification ensures that the payment vehicle matches the billing address on file (typically with your credit card provider/issuer). In the event that the merchant requests a billing address, use the address that you registered with which will be the address that is printed on the card carrier. If you redeemed a virtual card, you have the ability to edit the address online through your account.
13 . I forgot my password to access the VPCode.com website. [back to top]
You can reset your password by going to the www.VPCode.com website and selecting "Forgot Password." You will be asked to provide the answer to the challenge question that you set up when you initially registered. If successful, you will be emailed a temporary password which will allow you access into the system. Upon entry, you must reset your password to a password of your choice.
